After a deep red dahlia last week, I have chosen to post two pink ones. Unfortunately, the only thing that is left of them are those two photos. Indeed a big storm hit us last Thursday and damaged the biggest flowers in the garden.

Hi, Ilana
Explosion of colour and beauty. Compelled to share this marvel. I regret the loss of flowers because of rainstorms.

Really stunning flowers.
We had the tail end of Hurricane Ike here all day. I lost my cherry tree and a lot of limbs. The neighbors lost three trees and they fell on a power line and that weight broke the power pole. Not a good day here in SW Ohio.
Mine are on Canon Pixels

So pretty in pink! The first reminds me of those little scrunchy things to pull back little girls hair.
I love the second one.
A really lovely shade of pink dahlia.
Nicely done.

Both are gorgeous, especially the first one that looks like something one might see in a coral reef! Too bad about the storm but perhaps that gives us something else to look forward to next year! Thanks for sharing.
