I found Rabbi Fink’s article extremely sad – does no one where he lives breastfeed? Breastfeeding is free and healthier for the baby. What a sad world we live in. How do we encourage healthier habits, so health care costs won’t be so high?

You’re right about breastfeeding. Is it advertized much in the US? Here it is more “popular” than it used to be but not every woman breastfeeds though.

It more popular now that it used to be, but more so among educated women. Some women give up quickly.
