Having updated my version of Microsoft Office I have just realized that all my blog contacts have disappeared and cannot be retrieved (believe me I have tried).
If the only way we have ever been in contact is via my ilanadavita email address, I have definitely lost you. Could please send me an email – no text needed – so I can add you to my address book again? Thanks in advance.

I hope this is what you mean by an email, as you didn’t put one in the text to specifically reply to and the post came in as “no-reply.”
My “about” page has my email address but by leaving a comment you also provided your address, which I get in my inbox with the comment.
I have done this in the past (updated a computer and lost contacts). There is a way to back up email addresses – it’s very easy with Thunderbird, you don’t have to restore all your emails, just what you want. I’ll email you, just in case.
I recommend once you get about 100 emails – do a backup of the address book! Or at least a printout.
My old data is on the computer but the new version of the same app cannot open them. A printout seems like a good idea; thanks for the tip.
You may also be able to read the data into Excel & get it that way.
