This small synagogue is located in The Pletzl, the Jewish quarter in the fourth arrondissement of Paris. I visited it with my colleagues and some students last Friday.
On Tuesdays, just post any photo you like (it must be one of your own) that contains the color RED and then link to this blog.

Great capture. Happy RT!
Mine’s here.
It’s lovely. It looks like a tiny shul. From my memory, the shuls in Paris are not noticeable from the outside but elegant on the inside. We just went inside one (on our honeymoon- can’t remember which one, but it was much larger than this).
It is not tiny but it is not very big either. I have pictures of the one next door which is really tiny.
That’s one thing we noticed with my students concerning small or middle-sized shuls: often you can’t tell from the outside that it is a synagogue. In fact the one featured above has a big sign on the outside.
very lovely…just this in a frame tells of so much stories!
It really is lovely.
The nature of God’s beauty is the perfect to accent to a place of worship. The overall look is grand, the lovely interior just perfect to pray to the one true God. Any exterior can be grand, but the simpler outsides cannot compare to the inside, where our hearts lie. The bright view inside invites worship. So lovely!
Beautiful interior, the red flowers enhanced the bleak colours of the room. The extraordinary roof chandeliers take the prize; they are ravishing.
the lighting fixtures are so pretty
and the red really stands out
It’s lovely.
My entry.
I love crystal chandeliers. The (long gone) shul of my childhood had 3 enormous ones but nowadays you don’t see them as much. Pity.
Lovely photo!
Great chandelier. I’m really enjoying your series on the Pletzl (which my mind keeps reading as “pretzel”, since the last blog I visited had a delicious looking photo of a pretzel on it.
PS The poppy photograph was just taken this past Saturday

What a beautiful photograph…the interior is so lovely with that chandelier, and the red flowers really pop out.
Somehow those red blooms seem to heighten the holiness of this place.
SILLY DITTY
“If scarlet be crimson,” he said,
“Then rubicund surely is red.
And then I suppose,
If I named a rose,
Its color would go to my head!”
