  1. Ah, those tomatoes are a beautiful ruby indeed. The fresh fruit (including the lemons) sit awaiting a chef’s touch. But with this lovely fruit, the ingredients are the star, the cook has little to do for us to enjoy a delicious treat…Bueno appetite!

  2. Oh the splendor of Italy with its little pops of color!

  3. The tomatoes really do *pop*! Great reds. I love how the lemons are displayed. Can’t imagine such a fancy display here.

  4. I totally love Italy, especially Tuscany. A lovely photo.

Oh, what a charming photo! I love the boxes of tomatoes welcoming me at the door of the shop!

    FEELING RED

    I am feeling red today—
Better that than blue, they say.

Red is such a cheery shade,
    Sweetest color ever made,

    Brightens everything you do—
Better red, they say, than blue!

  8. I love this photo. Reminds me of my two visits to Lucca! What wonderful shops I found there – and superb restaurants. I horded the olive oil I bought.
